My trip to Nottingham

Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great day. I recently visited Nottingham for an overnight trip to stay with a friend. It was amazing. The shopping, food, scenery was great. I stayed in a lovely apartment in the heart of town. Not to mention my amazing time in the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. It was very relaxing and a great trip to have to celebrate my 2nd year result and just explore a new town. I had some great memories, had my first ever macaroons and first cocktail. Good times.

I also got my nails done too, because I felt like treating my self, I was just going to get a manicure but I though no, let's get acrylics done. Everytime I do them myself they hurt and come out kind of weird, so I thought let me go to the professional so they can do it properly so I can see the technique that they use. I think I know what I'm doing wrong now! I chose a lovely vampy plum nail polish from OPI, I think the shade is Casino Royale.

On the first night me and my friend Jane went to Pitcher and the Piano for some drinks and food, this is where I had my first cocktail! It was a tequila cooler, it tasted amazing! Then we met up with some of Jane's friends then had some more drinks. I'm a good girl, so I had a lovely Apple Mint mocktail! ;)

Then on the last day we went to a beautiful Thai restaurant with such a peaceful atmosphere called Tarn Thai, food was lovely too. I am going to learn how to make Thai food.

The greatest moment of my trip was finding the Topshop lipstick in Straight Ace (possible dupe for MAC Heroine), which was sold out everywhere. See what had happened was it I went to the till to pay for my items (see below) then I saw some purple lipsticks by the till and then I saw them! I bought 2 because I had to cease the opportunity and they were only £3 each OMG crazy right? I will always love Nottingham for that!

I am planning to go back soon and stay for a bit longer and see what else the city is saying.
